Two days at the UAV Commercial Show in London, representing EasyInspect at the Denmark Pavilion, booth #5.
This show was more focused on European infrastructure operators, which is our core market. I had conversations with teams from SBB (Swiss Federal Railways), Vejdirektoratet (the Danish Road Directorate), and Sund & Bælt (operators of the Great Belt Bridge and Øresund crossing). These are organizations that inspect thousands of structures every year: bridges, tunnels, railway infrastructure, road surfaces.
The common thread in every conversation: they have the drones, they have the pilots, but they don't have a good system for managing what happens after the flight. Images pile up on hard drives. Reports are assembled manually in PowerPoint. Historical comparisons require someone to dig through folder structures and remember which inspection was which.

The SBB conversation was particularly interesting. Railway bridge inspection at the scale of the Swiss rail network is a different challenge than single-turbine inspections. Thousands of structures, each with multiple inspection points, inspected on a rolling schedule. The data management problem is enormous. I left London with a clear picture of what enterprise-scale inspection workflows need.
